Update
The announcement of nominees will take place at Emalahleni/Witbank in the Mpumalanga province on the 30th of July 2022. On the day the list of successful nominees will be announced. Those in attendance can look forward to performances from the following acts Mduduzi Ntuli (MC & Comedian), Nomfundo Moh (Singer) Karabo Mogane (Singer) and Mukosi (Singer). Guests will also enjoy performances from the cultural groups; the Indian group, Siswati group, Venda group, Tswana group as well as the Marimba Band. We wish to extend our gratitude to all the traditional music groups and artists for submitting their entries for the 17th SATMA Awards 2022. The event will have a number of prominent and prestigious joining together to celebrate our diverse cultures. SATMA Awards together with the Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation in Mpumalanga looks forward to a great event on the 30th of July 2022.
