Fashion Kulture is a program where designers are given an opportunity to come and showcase their designs / talent during the SATMA Announcement of Nominees. The 1st Fashion Kulture Competition was on the 26th November 2021 Incorporated with the Golf Awards.

This year the competition returned with ten designers from all the different provinces competing to win the 2022 SATMA Award trophy. The top five are Nomsa Mkhonza, David Maimela, Frank Ramatsetse, Lesedi Baakwalanga and Bornwise Khoza. After an amazing display of work from all the designers, Ms. Nomsa Mkhonza was crowned winner for the category Best Traditional Outfit 2022.
